Incognito Episode 2: Rabha Perpetual Battle

In this video we take a look at a new perpetual battle system in Incognito 1.98. It’s used on the surface Rabha in which the player much locate a facility known as “Reactor 67″ and find a timing device for a EMP bomb.

The rules of the map (and why there is not alot of fighting) is to not get in the way of the battle that is taking place and avoid the attention of large field units like tanks which will kill on sight. The other soldiers on the ground are to busy fighting to pay you much mind unless you open fire in which both sides will open fire on you and make life, much, much harder but not impossible if that is how you like your game.

We are still testing out this stage, and have yet to implement different models for the blue and red robot guys you see running around. The purpose of this video is to scout suggestions for models to use for the “scavengers” in red, and the inhabitants of Rabha itself in blue.

Also on another note we wanted to implement a system by which the player could purchase a custom land rover/ATV type motion machine to help them get across the surface of the planet.
